1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Practice Pages website and services. Practice Pages is a trading name of Litho Services Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Our services

Practice Pages provides website design, development, hosting, content creation, and ongoing maintenance services specifically for accountancy practices. The specific services, deliverables, and pricing will be agreed in writing before any project commences.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Our services are typically provided on a monthly subscription basis:

  • Monthly fees are payable in advance by Direct Debit or card payment
  • One-off setup fees (where applicable) are payable before work commences
  • Prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' written notice

4. Website ownership and intellectual property

During your subscription:

  • You retain ownership of all content you provide to us (text, images, logos, etc.)
  • We retain ownership of the website design, code, and any templates used
  • You are granted a licence to use the website for the duration of your subscription
  • Upon cancellation, we can discuss transfer of the website to your ownership for an additional fee

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information for your website
  • Review and approve content in a timely manner
  • Ensure any content you provide does not infringe third-party rights
  • Maintain the confidentiality of any login credentials we provide
  • Use the website in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Content changes and updates

The number of content changes included depends on your subscription tier. Additional changes beyond your allowance can be arranged at our standard hourly rate. We aim to complete routine updates within 5 working days of receiving your request and approved content.

7. Hosting and uptime

We provide managed hosting as part of your subscription. While we strive for maximum uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses arising from temporary unavailability of your website due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time with 30 days' written notice. Upon cancellation:

  • No refunds are provided for the current billing period
  • Your website will be taken offline at the end of the notice period
  • We will provide a copy of your content upon request
  • Website transfer to your hosting can be arranged for an additional fee

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Litho Services Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Regulatory compliance

While we design websites with professional standards in mind, you remain responsible for ensuring your website content complies with all applicable regulations, including those set by ICAEW, ACCA, or other professional bodies. We recommend you review your website content with your compliance team.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify existing clients of any material changes via email. Continued use of our services after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
